Makivo Privacy Policy
Effective October 29, 2026. Makivo is made by Ingress Software LLC, 712 Thompson Falls Dr, Canton, Georgia 30114, USA. Questions: privacy@ingresssoftware.com.
What we collect
To run Makivo you create an account with an email address and password (or sign in with Apple or Google, which gives us your email and a sign-in token). Your licence and trial are tied to that account. Each device you use gets a random installation identifier; we store it with the device's name and the app version so your licence can be shared across up to three devices and so you can remove a device you no longer use. If you buy Makivo on the App Store, we receive Apple's signed transaction record to unlock your licence; Apple handles payment and we never see your card.
Your designs stay yours
Projects, G-code, and photos live on your device unless you choose to publish a design to the Makivo Library or turn on tool-library sync, in which case that content is stored on our servers to provide the feature.
AI features
The optional design assistant and image features send your request to the AI provider you configured with your own API key (for example Google or OpenAI). That provider's privacy terms apply. We do not receive those requests.
What we don't do
No advertising, no tracking across apps or websites, no analytics SDKs, no sale of data. We keep sign-in events (time, IP address, device) for 400 days to detect fraud and abuse of free trials.
Your rights
Email privacy@ingresssoftware.com to get a copy of your data or delete your account; deleting the account ends your licence. Residents of the EU, UK, and California have the additional rights those laws provide, and we honour them for everyone.
Changes
We will post changes here with a new effective date.
